11th international festival of landscape objects.
Nikola-Lenivets, Dzerzhinsky District, Kaluga region, Russia
Sculpture "Inhabited substance" was conceived and implemented as a result of interpenetration of the object of art and architecture.
The sculpture is biomorphic in its plastics and natural in its essence. It consists of synthetic materials - several kinds of polymers.
Within this hybrid one can sit or lie down for a long time, feeling oneself a living being inside another being and at the same time experiencing a state of hovering, being cut off from terra firma and the social bustle.
"Inhabited substance" was preceded by a series of reliquaries for birds and homeless dogs, embedded in the urban environment.
